START SMALL. GO FURTHER.
Six tracks and MASTER to start. Choose a compact Fit view or larger Roomy channels. Record beside the main fader and go full screen when you want more space.
Vocal, guitar and bass presets give you a starting point. Try tone, pan, compression, reverb, delay, chorus, phaser or tremolo to make it your own.
Build drums or a click track. Estimate a steady tempo from recorded guitar and bass, or tap in the speed yourself and adjust by ear.
YOUR FIRST MIX
Try Load Demo Band if you want to explore before connecting a microphone.
Open an audio file, or select your input and turn on that track’s Record button.
Press Record at MASTER. Finish Take, press Play Mix, and try a preset or fader.
Save Song keeps the editable project. Download Mix makes a stereo WAV to listen to and share.
READY WHEN YOU ARE
The Windows ZIP includes Ray’s EXE, the easy adult picture manual, and Start Here instructions.
Windows x64 online launcher: internet required. Unsigned beta; Windows testing is pending. New Ray song files open in Ray’s board.
BEFORE YOU PLUG IN
No experience is required to start. The demo, presets and illustrated manual help you explore one step at a time. Getting a good recording still means choosing the right input and sensible levels.
The board includes a Spark USB audio finder and MIDI controls. Spark PEDAL recording uses Input 1. Windows needs Positive Grid’s driver; MIDI needs a separate USB-to-MIDI connection. Hardware compatibility still needs testing on your computer.
The limit is one hour per take. Long takes depend on available computer memory. Keep the board open and save after each take. The cutoff and song format passed code checks; a full-length browser recording remains untested.
This browser board and its online Windows launcher use built-in effects. They do not host desktop VST3 plugins. A native plugin host would be a separate desktop development step.
Mixing and recording happen in your browser. Save Song downloads an editable .bandera file. Download Mix makes a WAV. Keep your own files; local recovery can be limited by storage and is paused for large songs.
